Khajuraho in the state of Madhya Pradesh is a UNESCO world heritage site built by the Chandela kings. The Hindu and Jain temples of Khajuraho built between 950 AN and 1050 AD focus on the nagara architectural style. After a days halt proceed to Orchha located on the banks of the Betwa river. The city is known for the fort, palaces and temples. The fort complex has the Raj Mahal, Jehangir Mahal, and the Rai Parveen Mahal. Orchha city was built by the Bundelas in the 16th century AD. Take a leap back into ancient world of kings and the exquisite sculptures and architectural marvels of the era.
