9 N/10 D Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur and Jaisalmer
Itinerary
DAY 1
Arrive Jaipur airport and transfer to hotel. Check in to hotel. Evening visit the Choki Dhani, the ethnic village for dinner and village ambience. Payment for dinner to be made at the venue at the counter. Overnight at Jaipur.
DAY 2
Start your day with visit to Hawa Mahal and City Palace. Afternoon have lunch at Lakshmi Misthan Bhandar in Johari Bazaar. Later proceed for Amer Fort and Jaigarh Fort. In the evening do some shopping at Bapu Bazaar and Johari Bazaar for tie and dye fabrics, silver and semi precious stone jewelry, Jaipuri quilts and other handcrafts. Overnight at Jaipur.
DAY 3
Half day to see any places left out and then transfer to Udaipur. It takes approx. 6.5 hrs by road. Arrive Udaipur and check in to hotel. Overnight at Udaipur.
DAY 4
Local sightseeing including City Palace, Lake pichola, Jag Mandir and Saheliyon ke bari and the main markets. Overnight at Udaipur.
DAY 5
Morning visit to Fatehsagar Lake, Shilpgram and then transfer to Jodhpur. It takes approx. 5 hours by road. Arrive Jodhpur and check in to hotel. Overnight at Jodhpur.
DAY 6
Local Jodhpur sightseeing. Visit Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Tada. Visit the museum at Umaid Bhavan Palace. Overnight at Jodhpur.
DAY 7
Check out and transfer to Jaisalmer by road. Enroute stop by at Osian temple complex and then proceed to Pokharan before reaching Jaisalmer. Approx 275 kms and takes 4.5 hrs by road. Overnight at Jaisalmer.
DAY 8
Local Jaisalmer sightseeing including the main Jaisalmer fort, Bada bagh, Gadisar lake (just a stop) some shopping in and around the area and visit at least two havelis – Patwaon ki haveli, Salim singh haveli or Nathmalji ki haveli and head to Sam Sand dunes for Overnight at Jaisalmer.
DAY 9
Stay at Desert camp and Overnight at Desert camp. Visit to Kuldhara. Overnight at Desert Camp.
DAY 10
Check out and transfer to airport for flight back to home.
