Itinerary
DAY 1
Arrive Colombo airport and transfer hotel at Sigiriya. Enroute visit to Pinnawale Elephant orphanage. Arrive Sigiriya and check in to hotel. Overnight at Sigiriya.
DAY 2
After breakfast at the hotel proceed to Sigiriya. Climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a legendary fortress build on a rock 2500 years ago on the rock fortress, witness the famous frescoes of ancient Sri Lankan damsels. Proceed to Kandy. It takes approx. 3 hrs by road and distance 90 km. Check in to hotel in Kandy and have a quick refresh. Evening enjoy Kandy cultural show. Overnight at Kandy.
DAY 3
Morning visit to world famous temple of Tooth Relic, the main attraction in Kandy. Later transfer to Nuwara Eliya. Enroute visit to Ramboda village, visit Shri Bhakta Hanuman Hindu Temple and Ramboda Waterfall. Arrive Nuwara Eliya and check in to hotel. Overnight at Nuwara Eliya.
DAY 4
Morning visit the beautiful Seetha Amman Hindu Kovil temple. Later transfer to Yala. Arrive and check in to hotel. Overnight at Yala.
DAY 5
Enjoy your stay and safari at Yala National Park. Overnight at Yala.
DAY 6
Check out from hotel and transfer to Bentota. Enroute visit to Galle Dutch Fortress. Arrive and check in to hotel. Enjoy the beach and overnight at Bentota.
DAY 7
Check out from hotel and transfer to Colombo by road. It takes approx. 2 hrs by road. Colombo. Local sightseeing in Colombo including Gangaramaya Buddhist temple, Colombo Fort Bazaar, Red mosque, Dutch museum, Independence Square, Old Parliament building, Galle face, etc. Overnight at Colombo.
DAY 8
Transfer to Colombo airport for flight back to home.
