Overview
PLEASE NOTE: The vehicle that will be hired for you cannot be used for local sightseeing at Gulmarg and Pahalgam as per directive of J&K Tourism dept. For local sightseeing to Chandanwari/Betaab Valley and for any sightseeing within Gulmarg, you have to use the local taxi union's taxis and make on the spot payment. This has been done to provide livelihood to locals. For Gulmarg local sightseeing you can use ponies or ATV. Gulmarg Gondola tickets are to be bought online on their official website. Tickets are not sold offline or at counter
Itinerary
DAY 1
Arrive Srinagar and transfer to hotel. Check into hotel. 01 hr. shikara ride at Dal Lake. Overnight at Srinagar.
DAY 2
Day trip to Gulmarg and back. It takes approx. 1.5 hrs by road one way to Gulmarg. Use your pre purchased online Gulmarg gondola tickets to enjoy the cable car ride to Phase I and Phase II. Takes approx. 3 to 4 hours. Please note there will be long queues even with the online tickets. After the Gondola ride, enjoy the Circular road sightseeing by ATV or pony. Return back to Srinagar. Overnight at Srinagar.
DAY 3
After breakfast transfer by road to Pahalgam. It takes approx. 2.5 hrs by road. Enroute stop at Apple Orchards and enjoy a fresh glass of apple juice. Arrive at Pahalgam and check in to hotel. Take a pony ride to Baisaran. Overnight at Pahalgam.
DAY 4
After breakfast by local taxi to Betaab Valley and Chandanwari. Overnight at Pahalgam.
DAY 5
Morning check out from hotel and proceed for Srinagar. It takes approx. 2.5 hrs by road. Visit to Tulip Garden, Shalimar Bagh, Shankaracharya Hill Temple and Hazratbal Shrine. Overnight at Srinagar.
DAY 6
Morning check out from hotel and transfer to Srinagar airport for flight back to home. You need to reach Srinagar airport earlier than other airports because there is an additional check point where bags are scanned before entry to airport.
