Itinerary
DAY 1
Arrive Vidyanagar (closest airport to Hampi). Transfer to your hotel in Hampi. It takes approx. one hour by road. Overnight at Hampi.
DAY 2
Visit the main temple Vijaya Vittala Temple and Virupaksha temple. Overnight at Hampi
DAY 3
Day trip to Badami and Aihole heritage sites. Its around 150 kms and takes around 4 hours one way. Overnight at Hampi
Main attractions:
Badami Fort, Cave temples, Agastya lake, Bhoothanatha temple, Lower shivalaya, Mallikarjuna temple and 25 kms from Badami is Aihole.
Time will not be sufficient to cover Pattadakal, which is another town at a distance of 15 km from Badami. Overnight at Hampi.
DAY 4
Morning transfer to Mysore. It’s takes 07 hrs 430 kms by road. Overnight stay at Mysore.
DAY 5
Visit Mysore palace and Chamundi Hills and local sightseeing around. Overnight at Mysore.
DAY 6
After breakfast transfer to Mysore Railway Station /Mysore Airport for back to home.
