Itinerary
DAY 1
NJP Railway Station/Bagdogra (IXB) Airport – Darjeeling
(Distance: 75 kms. / Driving Time: 3 hrs. / Altitude of Darjeeling: 2,050 mts) On arrival at IXB Airport you will be met by our local representative and get transferred to Darjeeling. Upon arrival in Darjeeling, Check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day free for leisure. Overnight at the hotel in Darjeeling.
DAY 2
Darjeeling Sightseeing
Early in the morning at around 4.00 A.M. you would be driven to Tiger Hills (2590 mts, SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY OF PERMIT & TOKEN) to see spectacular view of sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather). On the way visit Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery. After breakfast you would be visiting Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (Thursday Closed) & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Thursday Closed), Darjeeling Ropeway Ride (Ticket cost not included), Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (Sunday Closed) & Tea Garden (Outer View). Evening free for leisure. Overnight at the Hotel in Darjeeling.
DAY 3
Darjeeling - Kalimpong
(One Way - Distance: 51 kms. / Driving Time: 2.5 hrs.) Drive to Kalimpong, a serene town known for its Buddhist monasteries and stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Visit the Durpin Monastery, stroll through the local markets, and enjoy a cup of locally grown tea. Overnight stay at Kalimpong.
DAY 4
Kalimpong
Visit Deolo Hill for panoramic views, the Zang Dhok Palri Phodang Monastery, and Kalimpong Cactus Nursery. Overnight stay at Kalimpong.
DAY 5
Mirik Excursion
(One Way - Distance: 120 kms. / Driving Time: 4 hrs.) After breakfast you would be driven to Mirik, famous for manmade lake known as Sumendu Lake via Indo-Nepal Border (In case guests want to visit Pashupati Market, extra charges will be applicable for Nepal Border to Pashupati Market). Horse riding and boating facilities are available around the lake which can be done on direct payment basis. In the evening you would be driven back to the hotel in Darjeeling. Overnight stay at the hotel in Darjeeling.
DAY 6
Darjeeling – NJP Railway Station/Bagdogra (IXB) Airport
(Distance: 75 kms. / Driving Time: 3 hrs)
After breakfast you would be dropped at the IXB Airport for your return journey.
